The film tells the story of a close to future wherein the earth is irreversibly sandy, as human emissions and rubbish exceed its wearing potential. As flora and animals mutate to create the Earth’s new masters, the “sand worms”, that are slaughtering the planet and driving human beings to the edge of extinction, the survivors are left to their personal devices to discover the best closing shelter in the deep barren region, the “Oasis”.
